Two Arrested in Connection to Vehicle Burglaries in Brazoria County

Zachary Bernal and Bryan Demiter have been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries in the Bar X and Danbury areas, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office announced on February 7, 2025.

The burglaries, which occurred between December 26, 2024 and January 13, 2025, were solved through a combination of surveillance footage, investigative efforts, and key assistance from the community.

Authorities identified both a suspect vehicle and the individuals responsible, leading to the issuance of multiple arrest warrants. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Angleton Police Department assisted in the arrest of Bernal and Demiter.

Both suspects face multiple Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (BMV) charges, along with additional drug-related charges and offenses from other counties.
