Two Arrested After Fight Involving Juvenile Escalates with Rocks Used as Weapons

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two individuals were arrested after a disturbance involving a juvenile escalated into an assault, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
Deputies responded April 29 to a reported fight and detained three individuals at the scene. During the investigation, authorities identified two women as being involved in the assault. They were identified as 19-year-old Jada J. Taylor and 17-year-old Aniya Parker.
Investigators said the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute related to a prior school conflict. What began as a physical altercation escalated when the suspects allegedly used landscaping rocks as weapons against the juvenile.
Taylor and Parker were taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail on assault charges. Taylor was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2.
Both were issued $100 bonds through County Court 16.
