Two Arrested After Drug-Related Incident at Webster McDonald’s
Cornell Green and Nautilus Shepard

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two men were arrested Monday afternoon after deputies responded to reports of suspicious activity at a McDonald’s on the 500 block of El Dorado Boulevard in Webster.

At approximately 2:19 p.m., Harris County Precinct 8 Deputy O. Cartlidge arrived at the restaurant following reports that two males were allegedly using narcotics inside and refusing to leave.

Deputies identified the individuals as Cornell Green, 21, and Nautilus Shepard, 37. Authorities say Green attempted to conceal a clear plastic baggie near his leg, which was later found to contain methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe.

Deputies also determined, through a mobile AFIS fingerprint scan, that Shepard initially provided a false name.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance against Green and Failure to Identify against Shepard. Both men were booked into the Harris County Jail, and bonds have not yet been set.
