Three-Month Drug Investigation Leads to Search Warrant, Multiple Arrests in Southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas – A three-month narcotics investigation led to multiple arrests, the seizure of several illegal drugs and firearms, and the execution of a search warrant at a southeast Harris County residence, according to Harris County Precinct 2 Constable Jerry Garcia’s Office.
On Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, deputies assigned to Constable Garcia’s Special Operations Unit, with assistance from the Patrol Division and the United States Marshals Service, executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 8300 block of Park Place.
According to investigators, the case began after authorities received numerous anonymous tips alleging narcotics sales and other suspicious activity at the residence.
Over the next three months, detectives conducted an investigation that resulted in the issuance of a narcotics search warrant.
Deputies executed the warrant without incident and detained several individuals who were inside the residence.
Drugs, Firearms Recovered During Search
Investigators said the search resulted in the seizure of multiple types of illegal narcotics, including cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.
Deputies also recovered several firearms, including one that had been reported stolen through the Houston Police Department.
Following the investigation, authorities arrested:
- Jacoltey Gilliam, 38, on two outstanding Harris County felony warrants for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
- A 17-year-old juvenile, charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
- Talyaah Collins, 23, charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
Investigators said additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
Constable Jerry Garcia’s Office thanked the United States Marshals Service for assisting with the operation, noting that the search warrant was executed without any injuries or other incidents.
