Three Arrested After Home Burglary While Mother and Child Were Inside Humble Residence

HUMBLE, Texas – Three suspects were arrested after allegedly breaking into an occupied home and stealing property while a mother and her child were inside, according to Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Deputies responded on June 4, 2026, to a burglary call in the 18800 block of Timber Springs Drive in Humble.

Authorities said the incident was especially frightening for the homeowner, who was focused on protecting her child as the crime unfolded.

According to investigators, three suspects forcibly entered the residence by breaking a rear window and climbing inside while the home was occupied.

The suspects allegedly stole property from the residence before fleeing the area.

Deputies immediately began searching the surrounding neighborhood and quickly located the three individuals believed to be responsible.

During the investigation, surveillance video captured the suspects, and deputies positively identified them as 17-year-old Davion Davis, 19-year-old Desmond Deen, and 19-year-old Jaylen Faltine Castro.

Investigators recovered all of the stolen property, including a PlayStation 5, and returned the items to the homeowner.

Davis, Deen, and Castro were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on charges of Burglary of a Habitation.

According to court records, each suspect received a $20,000 bond set by the 337th District Court.

Constable Mark Herman praised the work of responding deputies.

“Breaking into an occupied home is a brazen and dangerous crime that puts innocent families at risk,” Herman said. “I am extremely proud of our deputies for their swift response, outstanding investigative work, and quick apprehension of these suspects. Thanks to their efforts, the suspects are behind bars and the victim’s property was recovered and returned.”
