Sweetwater Police Arrest Two in Narcotics Operation

The Sweetwater Police Department reports the arrest of Michael Keller and Mark Hay following a narcotics investigation in the 1000 block of East Third Street.

On October 1, 2025, the department’s Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle associated with the residence. The K9 Unit alerted to the presence of narcotics, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine. Keller and Hay were arrested on scene without incident.

Following the traffic stop, the Narcotics Unit, alongside the Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Division, executed a search warrant at Keller’s residence. Officers seized additional narcotics, digital scales, and packaging materials commonly used for distributing drugs.

Keller faces charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. Hay is charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1. Both suspects were booked into the Nolan County Jail.
