Suspects Apprehended After Theft and Drug Incident at Shenandoah Home Depot

On the evening of December 20, Shenandoah Police Officers responded to a call at Home Depot regarding a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an unidentified male had fled the store with multiple stolen power tools, making a quick escape in a northbound pickup truck.

Shortly thereafter, authorities tracked down the truck at a nearby restaurant, where the suspect was attempting to rendezvous with an acquaintance. Police units converged on the location, detaining both males involved in the theft.

A third suspect attempted to evade capture by fleeing into the restaurant. However, her escape was thwarted when she encountered a locked side door. In a desperate attempt to conceal her 22 grams of methamphetamines, she hid the illegal substances behind a booth. Unfortunately for her, vigilant staff and patrons observed the incident and alerted law enforcement.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the pickup truck used by the suspects had been reported stolen through the Houston Police Department. Consequently, the driver was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, while the female suspect was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The third individual was released from the scene.

All stolen merchandise was successfully recovered and returned to Home Depot.
