Suspect Found Hiding Under Trampoline After Evading Deputies in Harris County

On March 15, 2025, a complainant contacted Harris County Constable Precinct 5 dispatch, reporting that a suspect from a previous assault incident had returned to their residence and was seen in the backyard. The complainant, while hiding upstairs, informed dispatch they could see the suspect.

Deputies arrived at the scene, but the suspect had already left on foot. During a search of the area, deputies spotted the suspect jumping fences into neighboring backyards. Despite commands to stop, the suspect continued to evade law enforcement.

A perimeter was established with the assistance of multiple deputies, a K9 unit, and a PCT 5 drone. The suspect was ultimately found hiding under a trampoline in a backyard on Meadowbloom Lane and taken into custody without further incident.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted charges for Evading on Foot, with additional charges related to the previous assault pending further investigation.
