Suspect Charged in Fatal Stabbing at Goodson Drive Apartment Complex

Charges have been filed against Celso Gutierrez-Cabrera, 42, in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 37-year-old man on Saturday night. The incident occurred at 181 Goodson Drive around 8:50 p.m.

According to authorities, officers responded to a stabbing call in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Upon arrival, they discovered that Gutierrez-Cabrera and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation. The situation escalated, leading Gutierrez-Cabrera to fatally stab the victim.

The victim’s identity is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

After consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Gutierrez-Cabrera was charged with murder in the 338th State District Court. He was subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail.
