Suspect Caught During Burglary of Home Under Construction in Fulshear
Stolen breakers

FULSHEAR, Texas—A burglar was caught in the act by Fulshear Police officers who were patrolling the Pecan Ridge community. The suspect was arrested and is believed to be connected to multiple other thefts from construction sites.

Officers discovered that the electrical breaker box at a home under construction had been damaged and that breakers were missing. A tool bag found at the scene contained tools and electrical breakers that matched those that were taken.

The suspect, who was not identified in the report, ultimately confessed to the burglary during questioning by investigators. A search of the suspect also revealed blueprints for another home under construction in the Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek community, which had similar damage and missing electrical breakers.

The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail, where he was charged with Burglary of a Building.

Fulshear Police stated that while these types of thefts may seem minor, they occur frequently and contribute to higher costs for new homes, insurance premiums, and community expenses. The department believes the arrest looks “promising” in clearing several theft cases in the area.
