Suspect Arrested in November Fatal Shooting of Man Found on Tidwell Road

Houston police have arrested Adrian Odell McGee, 22, in connection with the fatal shooting of Johnny Felder, 34, found at 7800 Tidwell Road on November 23, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m. McGee has been charged with murder in the 351st State District Court.

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and discovered Felder, unresponsive, lying between the street and the curb. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

At the time of the incident, there were no known witnesses or suspects. An initial investigation identified two persons of interest, and surveillance photos were released to the public on December 6. One of the individuals later provided a statement to detectives and was released without charges. Detectives are still seeking to speak with the second individual, who remains unidentified.

Further investigation led to McGee being identified as the suspect. He was already in custody at the Harris County Jail on unrelated charges when he was charged with murder in connection to this case.
