Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting at Northeast Houston Parking Lot
A suspect has been identified and arrested in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 4922 Lockwood Drive in Northeast Houston. The incident unfolded at approximately 5:25 pm when Houston Police Officers responded to a shooting call in a business parking lot at the specified address.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 53-year-old Dwayne Robinson, the victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Robinson was standing in the parking lot when the suspect fired multiple shots. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later located at a nearby gas station.
After a thorough investigation, 42-year-old Anthony Ray Gardner was identified as the suspect in this case.
On Monday, December 4, members of the HPD Northeast Patrol Division’s Crime Suppression Team successfully apprehended Gardner. He now faces charges of murder and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
