Suspect Arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter in Deadly Almeda Road Crash

Houston police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal crash that occurred at 12300 Almeda Road in Central Southwest Houston around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Tony Jerome Oliver, 29, faces charges of intoxication manslaughter – death of multiple people – in the 497th Criminal District Court. Oliver remains hospitalized, and a booking photo is not available at this time.

The victims, a 21-year-old female and two males aged 23 and 24, have not yet been publicly identified pending family notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer A. Thomas, a gray Chrysler 300 driven by Oliver was traveling south when he failed to stop at a red light, striking a white Buick Enclave. The impact caused the Buick to collide with three additional vehicles.

The male driver and male passenger of the Buick were pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The female passenger was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Oliver was found to be intoxicated during the investigation. No other serious injuries were reported.
