Suspect Arrested After Weapons Disturbance and Kidnapping in Harris County
On November 10, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of a weapons disturbance in the 2800 block of Spears Road. While enroute to the scene, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s and conducted a traffic stop, detaining the driver and passenger before transporting them back to the original scene.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Ronnie Williams, had been involved in a verbal argument with the victims, who were in the backseat of the vehicle. After the driver pulled over, Williams allegedly pointed a firearm at the victims and demanded they exit the vehicle. Once they exited, Williams then pointed the firearm at the driver and forced her to drive him away.
As the vehicle drove off, Williams reportedly discharged the firearm twice in the direction of the victims. The firearm was recovered from the vehicle, and two shell casings were found and collected from the roadway. Fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported.
Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Kidnapping.
