Stolen Vehicle and Drugs Discovered at Splendora Hotel, Two Habitual Offenders Arrested
On November 13, 2024, Splendora Police Department’s Criminal Interdiction Unit located a stolen vehicle outside a hotel at the intersection of SH 242 and US Hwy 59. During the investigation, officers—assisted by Texas DPS and the Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office—identified one suspect connected to the vehicle inside a hotel room. Illegal narcotics were in plain view during the initial contact. A second suspect was located in another room.
The male suspect, a registered sex offender, was arrested for failing to comply with registration requirements, while a female suspect was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and other drugs. Both habitual offenders were booked into the Montgomery County Jail without bond, and the recovered vehicle has been returned to its owner.
