Spring Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Shooting at AutoZone in Harris County

Montgomery County deputies responded to a shooting at the AutoZone Auto Parts store located at 28803 Birnham Woods Dr. on December 21, 2024, at approximately 9:50 AM.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male victim inside the store who had died from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots from within the store, and a description of the shooter led to the swift apprehension of the suspect, 19-year-old William Gabriel Aguilar, in the nearby Legends Run subdivision by deputies from Pct. 3 and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators later determined that the victim was an employee of AutoZone. Following the investigation, Aguilar was charged with Murder, a first-degree felony, and is being held on a $750,000 bond at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
