Spring Driver Ends Up in Ditch, Arrested for DWI

On December 11, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a single vehicle crash in the 22500 block of Kuykendahl Road in Spring. The incident involved a vehicle veering into a ditch.

Upon arrival, law enforcement identified the driver as 44-year-old Ismael Lopez-Juarez, who exhibited several signs of intoxication. In response, Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, confirming the presence of impairment. Further testing included a breath specimen, revealing a blood alcohol content of 0.17.

Subsequently, Ismael Juarez was placed under arrest and transported to the Harris County Jail. He now faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated.
