On Saturday, January 6, 2024, Southbelt Deputies responded to a suspicious call for service in the 100 block of El Dorado. The call reported a male at a local supermarket refusing to leave, despite staff instructions. Upon arrival, deputies identified the individual, discovering he had two outstanding warrants.

The deputies, as part of their routine patrols in high-crime areas of the Songwood and Hobby Airport divisions, observed two subjects trespassing on private property during their shift. One of the subjects had an outstanding felony warrant, leading to their apprehension, while the second subject was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass charges.

Jerry Garcia Constable deputies maintain a vigilant presence in response to citizen concerns in the areas they patrol.
