Shoplifting Incident Leads to Arrest of Woman with Ecstasy in Spring, TX

On December 24, 2023, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a shoplifting incident in the 21100 block of Kuykendahl Road, Spring, TX.

Upon arrival, they identified the suspect as 40-year-old Ashley Fortner.

Subsequent investigation revealed that Fortner was in possession of Ecstasy, a potent substance known for its empathogenic, entactogenic, stimulant, and psychedelic properties, which can distort time and perception and is considered very dangerous.

Ashley Fortner was subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Her bond was set at $5,000.00 by the 486th District Court.
