Shoplifting Suspect Apprehended Turns Out to Be Wanted for Aggravated Robbery
On December 28, 2023, deputies from Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a shoplifting incident in the 19500 block of the North Freeway. Upon arrival, they were informed that a male suspect had concealed merchandise and bypassed all points of sale without making a purchase.
The identified suspect, 39-year-old Joseph Williams, was apprehended by Constable Deputies. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Williams had an open Felony Warrant for Aggravated Robbery, along with two Misdemeanor Warrants for Criminal Trespass Theft.
Joseph Williams was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Felony Theft. His bond has been set at $5,000.00 by the 262nd District Court.
