Shooting Incident Outside Katy Mills Mall Leaves Three Juveniles Injured

Three individuals sustained injuries in a shooting incident outside Katy Mills mall on Saturday night, as confirmed by the Katy Police Department.

Authorities report that the incident originated as a confrontation among a group of juveniles within the mall’s parking lot, escalating to the discharge of firearms.

Emergency services responded, transporting the three injured parties to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, their injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening. One of the victims sought refuge within the mall and received initial treatment near the Bass Pro Shop from a first responder. The individuals involved in the incident are all aged between 14 and 17.

Katy Police Chief Diaz disclosed that six juveniles have been taken into custody for questioning in relation to the shooting. The suspects were apprehended in a nearby parking lot, and investigations have revealed that the vehicle used in the incident was reported stolen from Houston. The Katy Police Department is leading the ongoing investigation.
