Shooting at Teen Party Leaves Four Injured in Harris County
Overnight, at approximately 12:30 am, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service at the 4400 block of Mooney, near Hopper and Eastex Freeway in the Aldine area. Authorities discovered two teens, aged 17, with gunshot wounds – one to the leg and the other to the back.
Initial investigations suggest that a large party, attended by approximately 50-75 juveniles, was underway in a makeshift warehouse. The event, promoted through social media, took a violent turn when an unknown individual began shooting randomly.
The incident resulted in a total of four teens sustaining gunshot wounds, including two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old, and a critical 19-year-old. The injured parties were transported to area hospitals, where the 19-year-old remains in critical condition, while the others are in fair condition and expected to survive.
As of now, no suspect has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
