Runaway Juveniles Apprehended After Vehicle Pursuit and Foot Chase in Atascocita

On January 19, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7300 block of Aerobic Ave in Atascocita. The driver failed to comply, prompting a brief pursuit by the constable deputies. The vehicle was eventually stopped, but the driver and two passengers fled on foot.

Following a foot chase, law enforcement successfully apprehended the passengers, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile and a 16-year-old juvenile male. Both juveniles were reported as runaways. They were subsequently arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Evading Arrest.

The investigation is ongoing to identify the third suspect involved in the incident.
