Road Rage Chase Across Houston Highways Ends at Substation, Man Arrested After Infant Found in Car

Deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a man on a child endangerment charge following a road rage incident that unfolded across multiple major roadways and ended at a law enforcement substation.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on December 12, 2025, when deputies were dispatched to the Station 7 Substation located at 12415 Louetta Road in reference to a reported road rage encounter. Investigators determined that the confrontation began earlier on Interstate 45 and escalated as both vehicles continued traveling through the area.
The situation reportedly carried on from IH-45 onto the Grand Parkway, also known as State Highway 99, before continuing onto State Highway 249. Deputies said the encounter ultimately concluded when the involved vehicles arrived at the Louetta Road substation, prompting an immediate law enforcement response.
Following an investigation, deputies identified 30-year-old Marquis Tremayne Jutan as the suspect vehicle involved in the pursuit. Authorities determined that Jutan was actively chasing the other driver during the incident. Deputies also discovered that an infant child was inside Jutan’s vehicle at the time of the road rage pursuit, raising serious safety concerns.
Based on the findings, Jutan was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail. He was charged with Child Endangerment in connection with the incident. His bond was set at $5,000 by the 209th District Court.
Constable Mark Herman’s Office emphasized the dangers of road rage, especially when passengers, and particularly children, are involved. Deputies urge drivers to disengage from confrontations, slow down, and contact law enforcement rather than escalating potentially dangerous situations on busy roadways.
The investigation into the incident has been completed, and no additional charges were announced at this time.
