Repeat DWI Offender Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Harry County
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2900 block of Ravenwind Drive yesterday, leading to the arrest of Tyrone Harris. The driver exhibited multiple signs of intoxication, prompting the deputies to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
Following the tests, it was determined that Harris was driving under the influence of alcohol. Subsequent investigation revealed that Harris had two prior Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) convictions on his record.
Constable Mark Herman stated, “Tyrone Harris was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of the 180th District Court.”
