Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Veterans Memorial Drive in North Harris County

On Sunday, January 5, 2025, at approximately 10:42 p.m., Isaac Daniel Bahena, 27, was operating a gray 2021 Ford F150 northbound on Veterans Memorial Drive in the 12000 block when the vehicle struck a pedestrian, Lacresie Anne Watson.

Watson, who was walking west from the Valero gas station at 12038 Veterans Memorial Drive, failed to yield the right of way and entered the northbound lane, where she was struck by Bahena’s vehicle.

Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene but found Watson with no signs of life. Bahena remained on the scene and fully cooperated with the investigation.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Vehicular Crimes Division, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
