Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Pickup Truck on South Braeswood Boulevard
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 8600 South Braeswood Boulevard around 6:40 p.m. on Friday, December 13.
A male pedestrian, believed to be in his 40s, was crossing South Braeswood Boulevard when he failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a gray Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling westbound.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and remained cooperative. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
The driver was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
