Pasadena Team Captures Fugitive on Puerto Rico’s Most Wanted List for Child Sexual Assault

The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF), administered by the United States Marshals, is dedicated to apprehending violent fugitives. While the task force covers nearly the entire Texas Gulf Coast, the GCVOFTF Pasadena Team focuses on fugitive cases within the Houston Region, including Pasadena and nearby areas.

Recently, the Pasadena Team was alerted to a fugitive on Puerto Rico’s most wanted list, 57-year-old Angel Luis Pacheco-Gutierrez, who faced multiple counts of sexual assault of a child. The team gathered information suggesting that Pacheco-Gutierrez might be in their area. After a thorough search, they located and arrested him. He has been extradited to Puerto Rico to face charges.
