Pasadena Police Arrest Suspect in April Shooting Death
On April 11, 2024, Pasadena Police responded to an emergency call at 6630 Spencer Highway, where they found Jesus Davila III deceased in his vehicle from an apparent gunshot wound.
Detectives determined that a single individual had parked Davila’s vehicle at a nearby business before fleeing on foot. Video footage from area businesses and a thorough investigation led to identifying a suspect. An arrest warrant was obtained for 37-year-old Hugo Zuniga.
On June 11, 2024, officers from the Pasadena Police Violent Crimes Division and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force arrested Zuniga at 2500 Lynnfield St. in Houston. Following an interview, Zuniga was charged with the murder of Jesus Davila III.
