Montgomery Count Deputies Arrest Conroe Man for Child Porn; Over 21,000 Images Found in Devices

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Montgomery County Precinct 3 Deputies executed a residential search warrant at a home located in Conroe, Texas.

The search warrant stemmed from a pro-active investigation by Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division into the offense of promotion and distribution of child pornography in The Woodlands, Texas area.

The investigation found that 48-year-old Darrin David Lamoy of Conroe was associated with promoting and possessing over 21,000 images depicting child sexual assault material. During the search warrant, devices were located and forensically reviewed.

Lamoy was found to be in possession of images depicting toddler aged children in a sexual manner. Lamoy was taken into custody at the scene and is currently incarcerated at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail. He is charged with five counts of Possession/Promotion of Child Pornography and his bond has been set at $150,000.
