Man Arrested for Online Solicitation of a Child in Montgomery County Investigation

During September of 2023, Montgomery County Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Investigations Division began an investigation of a 26-year-old male who was alleged to have been selling drugs and soliciting children for sex in Montgomery County.

During the course of the investigation, which involved multiple search warrants, and interviews, probable cause was found that the suspect, identified as Edward Julio Sanchez of Humble, had been soliciting children for sex as young as 13 and 14 years of age.

On January 17, 2024, Detectives went to Anderson County where Sanchez has a bond supervision appointment for a pending Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child charge and arrested him for Online Solicitation of a Child.

Sanchez was transported to Conroe and booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail. Sanchez is currently being held without bond.
