Midland Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Hit-and-Run Driver

MIDLAND, TX – The Midland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday, July 19.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:21 a.m. at the intersection of West Wall Street and North ‘A’ Street. According to police, a Nissan Altima, with Texas license plate KMK2395, clipped a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle that was stopped at a red light.

The Altima fled the scene but was followed by the motorcyclist to the intersection of West Wall Street and North Marienfeld Street. There, the driver of the Altima got out of his car and attempted to start a physical altercation before fleeing again. The motorcyclist was able to capture a photo of the suspect.

The suspect is described as an adult Hispanic male with short black hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt, shorts, and yellow flip-flops.
