McDonald’s Disturbance: Harris County Man Arrested for Harassment, Property Damage, and Warrants
On January 5, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a disturbance at the McDonald’s located in the 100 block of East Richey Road. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a male individual eating in the kitchen area, while frightened staff members had sought refuge in the freezer.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the male, identified as 31-year-old Ernest Polk, had entered the establishment, harassed employees, and caused damage to property. Deputies detained Polk, subsequently finding him in possession of identification items and several belongings belonging to the staff. Additionally, it was uncovered that Polk had two open misdemeanor warrants for his arrest.
Ernest Polk II was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail to address the outstanding warrants. He faces charges of Possession of Identification Items, with his bond set at $2,000.00 by the 183rd District Court.
