On January 4, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an in-progress call in the 11100 block of Hidden Bend Drive. The call was in reference to a homeowner who discovered an intruder inside his residence.

Upon their arrival, deputies learned from the complainant that he had encountered an unexpected visitor in his bedroom after exiting the shower. The quick-thinking homeowner managed to grab his firearm and held the intruder, identified as 23-year-old Alexander Luna, at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.

Further investigation revealed that Luna had gained access through an unlocked back door and was in the process of collecting items within the residence when the homeowner discovered him. Subsequently, Alexander Luna was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail.

Luna faces charges of Criminal Trespass, and his bond has been set at $100.00 in County Court 14.
