Martial Arts Instructor Arrested in The Woodlands on Sexual Abuse Charges

On January 17, 2025, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Stephen Zarruk, a martial arts instructor at The Woodlands Karate & MMA, following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a juvenile student.

Details of the Case:
Zarruk is accused of sexually assaulting a young juvenile during individualized training sessions held at the martial arts facility. In addition to his role as an instructor, Zarruk has worked as a substitute teacher and contract physical education instructor for Conroe Independent School District.
