Man Arrested for Trafficking Runaway Teen in Montgomery County
Curtis Turner Chlebus, 22, of Spring, TX, has been arrested for Trafficking a Person – Engaging in Sexual Conduct after being found with a 14-year-old runaway.
On March 24, 2025, at approximately 11:15 PM, Constable Ryan Gable’s patrol unit encountered a vehicle parked in the Imperial Oaks Subdivision. Upon investigation, a patrol sergeant found Chlebus and a 14-year-old girl inside the vehicle.
The girl was identified as a runaway from Freeport, TX. The Pct. 3 Human Trafficking Unit was called to the scene to investigate.
Detectives determined that Chlebus had picked up the girl, engaged in sexual acts with her, and brought her to the location.
Chlebus was arrested at the scene and transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail for booking.
The juvenile was safely recovered, her guardian was notified, and she was taken to a local hospital for medical care.
