Man and Woman Wanted by Houston Police for Shooting Incident in San Felipe St
Wanted: Rodney Jermaine Tyler and Mechelle Lee Johnson

Charges have been filed against two suspects in connection with a shooting incident that took place at 5600 San Felipe Street on Sunday, November 5, at approximately 12:15 a.m.

Rodney Jermaine Tyler, 26, faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 248th State District Court, while Mechelle Lee Johnson, 26, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the same court.

The victim, a 28-year-old male, was shot multiple times but is currently in stable condition after being transported to a nearby hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers responded to the shooting incident at the San Felipe Street address and discovered that the male victim had been shot multiple times by a suspect known to him.

A preliminary investigation, along with evidence gathered from the scene and witness statements, led to the identification of Rodney Jermaine Tyler and Mechelle Lee Johnson as the suspects involved in the case.

Following their identification, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, resulting in the charging of both suspects. As of now, Tyler and Johnson remain at-large as the investigation continues.
