LEAGUE CITY, Texas — Officers with the League City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit have arrested 40-year-old David Longoria of Dickinson in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this month at a Chevron gas station.

Longoria has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and is currently being held without bond.

The incident took place on July 18, 2025, between 5:25 and 5:45 p.m. at the Chevron located at 151 E FM 646. League City officers responded around 6:30 p.m. after receiving a report of the robbery.

According to the store clerk, a man wearing a baseball cap, a long-sleeved button-up shirt, and a face mask entered the store and walked behind the counter. The suspect then pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register. After the clerk complied, the suspect turned back and demanded the clerk’s cell phone before fleeing the store.

The suspect was seen leaving the scene in a black Toyota Corolla, traveling south on South State Highway 3 toward Dickinson. The clerk’s cell phone was later found discarded near 25th Street and Hill Avenue in Dickinson and was collected as evidence.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division reviewed multiple surveillance recordings and conducted an investigation that led to the identification of David Longoria as the suspect. A warrant for his arrest was issued.

On the morning of July 31, 2025, Special Investigations Unit detectives and patrol officers located Longoria driving the same black Toyota Corolla near 19th Street and Avenue D in Dickinson. He was taken into custody without incident.
