Update November 11th: Vivian Moreno was located safely just before noon in the 900 block of East Slaton Highway.

The Lubbock Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating 29-year-old Vivian Moreno, who went missing under concerning circumstances.

Moreno was last seen at a motel in the 900 block of East Slaton Highway, shortly after midnight on November 10, 2023. The police responded to a call at 12:11 am reporting an assault on a female. Upon arrival, officers were informed that Moreno was no longer at the location but might have been taken against her will, raising concerns for her safety.

Despite a thorough search by officers at various locations throughout the morning, Moreno remains missing. Descriptions provided indicate that she is 4’10” tall, weighs 150 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes, along with a tattoo over her left eyebrow.

Authorities have identified a suspect in connection with the case. Joe Ruben Lopez, 30 years old, is wanted on charges of kidnapping.
