League City Walmart Robbery Suspect Sought After Shoving Employee

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – League City Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday afternoon at the Walmart located at 1701 W FM 646.

At approximately 2:34 p.m. on August 10, officers received a call regarding a theft in progress. The caller reported that a Black male suspect had smashed the glass of the store’s cell phone display case and stolen multiple phones.

An officer arrived on scene within two minutes and was informed that the suspect had fled in a black Ford Fusion with silver rims. Additional officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

During the investigation, police learned that a Walmart employee was shoved by the suspect during the incident, sustaining minor injuries. The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Due to the assault, the case has been upgraded from theft to robbery.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6’0” to 6’2” tall, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, camouflage pants, and red slippers. He was last seen driving a black Ford Fusion with silver rims.
