Juvenile Arrested in Attempted Sexual Assault at Jesse Jones Park; More Victims Sought

HUMBLE, TX – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office have arrested a juvenile male in connection with an attempted sexual assault that occurred on July 17, 2025, at Jesse Jones Park. Authorities believe there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet come forward.

The incident began when a female victim reported being attacked by an unknown male suspect while walking in the park. Constable Herman’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) immediately took over the investigation, conducting extensive follow-ups and interviews that led to the identification of the juvenile suspect.

The case was presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, which accepted criminal charges. On July 25, 2025, the suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Attempted Sexual Assault.

“This investigation remains ongoing. We will continue to seek justice for those impacted and ensure their voices are heard,” said Constable Mark Herman.
