Authorities in Brazoria County, Texas, have announced the success of a joint operation targeting drug trafficking in the area. The Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force, alongside Galveston HSI and the Southern Brazoria County SWAT team, carried out a search warrant on February 28, 2024, at a residence on Magnolia St. in Lake Jackson.

This operation, following a month-long investigation, resulted in the confiscation of significant amounts of controlled substances. Law enforcement officers seized around 2200 grams of Carisoprodol and approximately 200 grams of Armodafinil, valued at an estimated $33,000.

The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending against individuals involved in the possession of these substances with intent to distribute, categorized as a first-degree felony.
