Illegal Immigrant in Texas 10 Most Wanted Captured in Houston

On Friday, January 24, 2025, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) captured 33-year-old Jorge Dionicio Hernandez, a criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico, in Houston. Hernandez had been on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List since January 2022, wanted for indecency with a child by sexual contact in Harris County.

Hernandez was apprehended by DPS Special Agents from the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. His previous criminal history includes multiple convictions for driving while intoxicated in 2009, after which he was removed from the United States. In July 2021, Hernandez was arrested by the Houston Police Department for providing a false driver license/identification card, though he was released on bond.

His arrest was the result of a tip provided through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward will be paid.
