Humble Gambling Operation Shut Down, Two Arrested in Undercover Sting
On January 8, 2025, investigators with Constable Mark Herman’s Criminal Investigations Division acted on tips about illegal gambling at a business located in the 21600 block of Aldine Westfield Rd in Humble, Harris County. An undercover investigation confirmed the illegal activity, leading to the execution of a search warrant at the establishment.
During the operation, authorities seized approximately $3,000 in suspected gambling proceeds, multiple illegal gambling devices, and documentation supporting the illegal activity.
36-year-old Gissel Alejandra Galeano-Huete, an employee of the business, was charged with possession of gambling device paraphernalia. Additionally, one of the patrons, 48-year-old Carrie Alice Hornsby, was arrested for an unrelated criminal offense, with a warrant for her arrest.
