Houston Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspects in Woodland Heights Fatal Shooting
The Houston Police Department has released surveillance photos of two suspects and a vehicle involved in the fatal shooting of 41-year-old Jason Bush. The incident occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. on November 4 at 1514 White Oak Drive in Woodland Heights.
Responding to a shooting call at a local gas station, HPD patrol officers discovered Mr. Bush unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a black sedan. Houston Fire Department paramedics, upon arrival, pronounced Bush deceased from a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigations and evidence from the scene revealed that Bush had encountered two unidentified suspects in a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck in the parking lot. Subsequently, a male suspect approached Bush’s vehicle, shots were fired, and the suspect, described as a white male, quickly re-entered the pickup truck, fleeing the scene.
The suspects are identified as a white male and a black male, and surveillance photos of both individuals, as well as the pickup truck, have been attached to this news release.
As of now, investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting.
