Houston Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Fatal Shooting on Bellfort Street

The Houston Police Department has released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday, November 28, at 4811 Bellfort Street in Southwest Houston around 9:25 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black and gray jacket along with blue jeans. Surveillance photos of the individual are included in this news release.

The victim’s identity is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Responding to a shooting call at a convenience store on Bellfort Street, HPD patrol officers discovered the victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite efforts by Houston Fire Department paramedics, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation has led authorities to identify the pictured man as the suspect in this tragic incident.
