Houston Police Seek Black Pickup Truck in Fatal Hit-and-Run, Victim Identified as 61-Year-Old Jogger

Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on December 13, 2024, at 6:40 a.m. on Westpark Drive. The victim, identified as 61-year-old Lilia Vazquez, was jogging when she was struck by a black or dark pickup truck, which then fled the scene without rendering aid.

The vehicle is described as having a flat rectangular piece of plywood in its cab and is believed to have sustained damage to its front right light.

Vazquez was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
