Houston Police Search for Suspect in Fatal Stabbing of 19-Year-Old

Houston police are searching for 18-year-old Anton Addison, charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man at 5499 Braesvalley Drive on Wednesday, April 30, at approximately 12:20 a.m.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Addison is currently not in custody. A photo of the suspect is attached to this release.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Castillo and M. Perez reported that officers responded to a report of an assault at the apartment complex, where they found the victim lying in a breezeway with multiple stab wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Witnesses stated that an argument between the two men escalated into a physical altercation. The suspect fled the scene, running to a nearby abandoned apartment.
Further investigation led to the identification of Anton Addison, the victim’s brother, as the suspect. He was subsequently charged with murder.
