Houston Police Release Surveillance Video of Suspects in Fatal Shooting of 24-Year-Old Matthew Kallie
Houston police have released surveillance video of two suspects and their vehicles in connection with the fatal shooting of a man found at 11100 Safeguard Street around 10 p.m. on March 22.
The victim has been identified as Matthew Kallie, 24.
According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and M. Hughey, HPD patrol officers responded to the scene and discovered Kallie, who had multiple gunshot wounds, lying unresponsive in the street. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced Kallie dead.
Preliminary investigation and evidence indicate that Kallie was walking on Brisbane Street when approached by suspects in two vehicles: a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Traverse, and a black four-door sedan, possibly a Cadillac DTS. The shooter exited the front seat of the sedan and fired at Kallie.
Currently, no suspect descriptions are available.
