Houston Police Investigate Greater East End Fatal Stabbing: Need Assistance in Identifying Pickup Truck Driver

The Houston Police Department is actively investigating the fatal stabbing of a male discovered at 6900 Avenue S in Greater East End area around 3:20 p.m. on Monday, January 22. The victim’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to reports, Houston patrol officers received a call about a person lying in the street. Upon arrival, they found the victim in the roadway, unresponsive, and suffering from a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics later pronounced the victim deceased.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a black toolbox in the bed was spotted leaving the area. The authorities are seeking the truck for questioning in connection to the incident.
